Aglaonema 'Silver bay'

Aglaonema 'Silver bay'

These gorgeous plants are native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and New Guinea. Their natural habitat is humid, shady tropical forest.

They are known as Chinese evergreens on account of their stunning glossy oval-shaped leaves that are silvery-green.

The leaves themselves can grow up to 10 inches or more! It is quite a slow growing plant but if cared for well can grow up to 4 feet in height.

LOVES- A well lit position, away from direct sunlight. They are tolerant of low light levels but will thrive in good light. Watering roughly once a week, allowing the soil to almost dry out in between watering.

HATES- Direct sunshine or soggy waterlogged soil-this will lead to root rot.
