Rhipsalis cassera 'Mistletoe cacti'


Found naturally high up in trees in the tropical areas of Africa, Sri Lanka and South America. It is an epiphyte and grows directly on or in tall trees. It is a trailing cacti that flowers and produces small ‘fruit’ that resemble mistletoe berries hence its common name. Can grow to several feet in length.

RATING- Moderate

LOVES- Keep in a bright to partially shaded area and avoid direct sunlight. Ensure there is plenty of fresh air circulating

HATES- Under-watering, it is not drought resistant so water frequently during spring-autumn with some misting being beneficial.
