This stunning and unusual plant is known as a pitcher plant, it is carnivorous- feeding on insects which it lures into traps which contain digestive fluid! Native to North America where it grows in wetlands. It has deep tall pitcher that vary in colour from Burgundy to yellow. This variety has lime green pitchers with deep burgundy veins.

RATING- Moderate

LOVES- Full sun to light shade! Must be kept wet at all times. Never allow the soil to dry out

HATES- Do not allow the pot to stand in water. Water throughly and let drain. You can fill the pitchers with water but use distilled water not tap water as this will damage the plant! Its best to leave them as they are.
