A more compact variety of alocasia, the Alocasia Ninja has dark green almost black heart shaped leaves with silvery veins. Native to South East Asia it is a member of the Araceae family. Similar in looks to the Alocasia ‘Black velvet’ this plant will produce bigger and more rounded leaves, a focal point in any home.
RATING: Moderate care needs.
LOVES: Alocasia enjoys a bright locations with no direct sunlight, an east or west facing window is best. Allow the top two inches of the pot to dry out before rewatering. They also prefer room-temperature water.
HATES: Dry air and low humidity are disliked by Alocasia . They also dislike cold temperatures.
