£16.00

RATING: Super easy to care for. Philodendron ‘Pink marble’ plants are very easy to care for and each plant is unique with its varying levels of pink in their leaves. The marble is similar to the ‘Pink princess’ but the variegation has a more marbled appearance.

LOVES: Place your Pink Princess plant in a semi-shady position away from direct sunlight. Water roughly once a week but allow the soil to dry out a little in between.

HATES: Dust, keep leaves clean with a damp microfibre cloth. Philodendron Erubescens ‘Pink Princess’ plants can tolerate dry air but mist occasionally to increase the air humidity.

SIZE (approx): Pot diameter 9cm.

  • This highly sought-after variety of Philodendron is called a ‘Pink Princess’ and it is given this name due to the pink variegation that appears on its dark green leaves that sit atop dark red stems.

Not one of these plants is ever the same! Leaves of the Pink Princess can grow up to 20cm with the plant reaching around 50-60 cm, it is also a great air purifier. Pink princesses are originally from the tropics of South America however much less maintenance compared to what you may think, perfect if you want something a bit different and rare.

  • Care Difficulty: Super easy to care for in average household conditions.

Light requirements: Philodendron Erubescens like bright but indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight will turn the pink to brown but too little light will cause the pink to fade!

Watering: Water thoroughly and allow topsoil to dry out between waterings, this plant is prone to root rot so make sure the soil isn’t waterlogged.

Humidity: Can do well in household conditions but will enjoy a bit of humidity so make sure you give it a mist and wipe clean his leaves with a wet damp cloth.

Toxicity: Toxic to humans and pets

Feeding: Enjoys a feed around once a month in spring and summer.

Repotting: check to see if the roots are coming out the bottom of the pot!
