Gymnocalycium horstii (Spider Cactus)

This species of cacti is native to areas of South America and can be found high up growing in rocky outcrops. A globular cactus with 5 to 6 ribs which also produces clusters of curved spines which curve back into its body - giving it its common name Spider Cactus. Given the right conditions this cactus will also flower. A perfect small cactus to add to your collection.

RATING- Easy

LOVES- A bright sunny position, a sunny windowsill is ideal. Ensure it receives good light in the Winter months.

HATES- Overwatering- water sparingly every 2-3 weeks and reduce in winter allowing it to fully dry out.
