Native to Brazil this tropical plant has long oval leaves which are vibrant green with striking yellow and cream variegations .They have circadian rhythm, this means the leaves move upright at night and downwards during the day in search of the sun. Ctenanthe are from the same family as the Prayer plants (Maranta & Calathea).

RATING- Easy

LOVES- Light, bright indirect light (will tolerate some shade) Water when the top 1-2 inches of the soil are dry but ensure the plant is frequently misted to increase humidity

HATES- Dusty leaves- using a damp micro-fibre cloth gently wipe the surface of each leaf until clean.
