Dischidia ‘Melon’ is part of the same family as the Hoya. This is a tropical plant that grows naturally as an epiphyte- this means that it grows directly on other tropical trees (in a similar way to orchids). In the wild it is found in India, China and Indonesia and is often referred to by its common name watermelon Dischidia due to the pattern on its leaves that resemble a watermelon . This stunning plant looks great as a trailing/climbing plant.
