Goeppertia ‘fusion white’ also known as a Calathea is known for its lush white and green striped foliage, with pale purple-pink on the underside of the leaves. Many of the Goeppertia genus originate in Central Mexico and South America in tropical rainforests, this particular plant, the lietzei, is a hybrid that was created in a Malaysian lab during May 2007 by Taiyan Yam. The origin of this plant is also key to its survival, it must have a humid environment and have damp (but not soggy) soil to thrive.
RATING- Moderate
LOVES- Bright, indirect light. Regular watering when the top two inches of soil are dry.
HATES- Direct sunlight- this will burn the leaves
