Goeppertia warscewiczii syn. Calathea warscewiczii (Jungle Velvet)

The Goeppertia warscewiczii is a stunning variety from the Marantaceae family. Native to Southern America, this plant is used to humid conditions, under the jungle canopy. The Jungle velvet is known for its distinctive velvety leaves which have lighter green variegation and purple undersides. Not only do the leaves have this wondrous velvety texture, they grow to large sizes, creating a full houseplant.

RATING- Moderate

LOVES- A semi sunny position away from direct sunlight. Water roughly once a week and keep humidity high.

HATES- Dry air and direct sunlight
