Ctenanthe setosa 'Green Flag' (Prayer plant)

This gorgeous Ctenanthe is part of the maranta family. Native to Brazil this variety has pale grey-green leaves, with darker green lines and purple undersides. Easy to care for this tropical beauty is a great addition to any houseplant collection! During the night the leaves move to a more upright position and then lower again during the day.

RATING- Moderate 

LOVES- Semi-shade is best, no direct sunlight. Needs high humidity so frequent misting is essential. Water regularly through spring-autumn and reduce in winter, allowing the soil to dry out a little.

HATES- Direct sunlight will scorch the leaves and fade the leaf colour and pattern!
