Goeppertia zebrina has stunningly patterned ornate leaves that are elongated with alternating dark and light green stripes with a soft velvety texture. Also known as a Zebra plant, it gets its name from the aesthetically pleasing stripes that pattern its foliage. Native to Brazil, it lives at the bottom of the canopy in tropical rainforest conditions. It can grow up to 2ft tall.

Rating- Moderate

Loves- Semi-sunny is best, no direct sunlight. Water regularly through spring-autumn and reduce in winter.

Hates- Direct sunlight will scorch the leaves and fade the leaf colour and pattern!
