Kalanchoe orygalis otherwise more commonly known as ‘copper spoons’ due to its stunning burnt orange fleshy leaves, as the plant matures the leaves turn a light silver creating a stunning colour variation. It is a succulent in the Crassulaceae family. Native to the arid regions of Southwestern Madagascar where it grows as a xerophyte- a plant that can grow with very little water in a challenging environment.

RATING- Super easy

LOVES- A bright and sunny position (but not prolonged extreme light levels)

HATES- Overwatering or being misted. Water when the soil has dried out or if the succulent leaves appear dry and wrinkly.
