Sold Out

A stunning variety of Alocasia, the Silver Dragon has erect stems that lead to silvery arrow shaped leaves that have distinct darker veins, somewhat resembling dragon scales. A hybrid of the original Alocasia Baginda, it originates from Eastern Borneo. The plant is fairly compact, with mature plants reaching up to 2feet tall and wide, the leaves can grow up to 8inches long! Alocasias are known for occasionally dropping leaves, this can happen when a new, large growing leaf forms, the older/smaller leaves will then yellow and die to support the new growth.
