Originating from the Cape of South Africa, this is a wonderful variety of Aloe that can flower during summer. With thick, fleshy green leaves, on an erect stem, with leaf margins that have harmless white teeth. A faster growing and tougher plant from the Aloe genus, the name derives from the Arabic, alloch, meaning bitter, or bitter sap.

LOVES- Well draining sandy soil, sunny locations preferably not in direct sun.
