Caladium 'Florida Elise'
The huge leaves of the ‘Florida Elise’ are a dark olive green with beautiful pastel pink that contrasts against the green. These patches of pink are almost translucent, so look stunning when located in a bright position. The Caladium originates from the tropical regions of Brazil, and is proving to be a popular houseplant. The leaves are pointed, their shape is known as sagittate. The foliage can grow to an impressive 40cm in length. This plant goes dormant in winter, so be sure to cut down the stems, and store the pot in a cool, dry space, away from light, with a temperature of around 15-18 degrees Celsius.
