Phlebodium aureum (Blue star fern)
Sale plant - looking a little bit sad on ends but perfectly healthy. No returns
Known for its beautiful, pale blue toned leaves (fronds), the Phlebodium aureum is therefore often referred to as a blue star fern. Native to many countries, including tropical America, Argentina and Australia, this plant grows wild along forest floors and epiphytically. The rhizome (a continuously growing horizontal underground stem) creeps along the surface and is covered in tiny hairs (also known as scales) The leaves do not shed-they branch off into fingers as they get older and maintain their attractive colour.
