Native to tropical Asia and Polynesia, the Polyscias genus has around 80 species. The name derives from Greek, ‘polys’ meaning many and ‘scias’ meaning canopy, due to the flowing umbels of the plant. These oriental trees have fantastic curving stems and large decorative leaves, this variety has burgandy coloured veins and undersides of the leaf.

Rating- Moderate

LOVES- Warm temperatures, bright locations that is not in direct sun, and high humidity

HATES- Dry air, getting too cold, really dry soil (keep moist in. spring and summer)
