Tradescantia spathacea (Oyster plant/ Boat lily/ Moses in the cradle)

Native to Southern Mexico, Belize and Guatemala, this Tradescantia differs from other varieties on the market as it grows upright rather than trailing. This oyster plant has green leaves with vivid purple undersides. Tradescantia’s make a very rewarding house plant due to their speedy and vigorous growing habits. Very simple to propagate new plants from cuttings share the plant love!
