Euphorbia officinarum spp. echinus (Spurge/Succulent)
Euphorbia (Euphorbia spp.) is a very large genus of plants with more than 2,000 species. About 1,200 of them are succulents, some with bizarre shapes and wide, fleshy leaves and others that look remarkably like cacti, complete with spines This variety the Euphorbia officinarum is endemic to the southwestern parts of Mexico, where it grows in lowland and coastal habitats as well as high up in the Anti-Atlas. It is a spiny, cactus-like, succulent shrub densely branched from the base, they tend to grow low and wide and end up resembling a giant spiny hedgehog!

LOVES- A warm spot with either full sun or semi-shade.
HATES- Water only when the soil has fully dried out-these plants are truly drought tolerant so can withstand very long periods with no water
