The Ficus genus consists of over 850 species, which have become popular as houseplants. The microcarpa originates from South East Asia and eastern Australia, but grows well potted in the home. This particular plant has its thin stems braided, reaching up to glossy, green leaves. The perfect compact tree.

RATING- Easy

LOVES-A bright but indirect sunlit spot. Water consistently- keeping the soil moist but not soggy all year round. Feed in Spring-Summer to encourage new growth.

HATES-Soggy and water-logged soil. Ensure you tip away excess water10-20 minutes after watering to avoid root rot.
