    Quick Care Guide

Difficulty: Pachycereus has an easy rating

Light requirements: Pachycereus loves a brightly lit spot with some direct sunshine being beneficial especially throughout winter. They are native to Central America and Mexico where they are accustomed to hot temperatures and lots of light!

Watering: Water thoroughly when the majority of the soil has dried out. When repotting use a well draining, porous soil, suitable for cacti/succulents

Humidity: Low to moderate levels needed so average home humidity is ideal

Toxicity: Not toxic to humans or animals

Feeding: Use a liquid fertiliser once a month in the growing season (Spring-Autumn) and stop throughout Winter

Repotting: Every 2-3 years or until the plant appears root-bound. Avoid repotting too frequently as this can lead to stress. Use a good quality well draining cacti/succulent potting mix
