Background & Origin
Drosera adelae, commonly known as the Lance-leaf Sundew, is a tropical carnivorous plant native to the rainforests of northeastern Australia. Unlike many sundews, it thrives in humid, shaded conditions beneath the forest canopy. It has long, lance-shaped green leaves covered in tiny glistening tentacles that secrete sticky droplets to trap insects. Over time it can form clumps and, in good conditions, produces delicate red-orange flowers on tall stems above the foliage. Its unusual appearance and easy-going nature make it one of the best sundews for indoor growing
