Gasteria 'Little Warty' or Ox tongue is a hardy little succulent that has a very interesting and unique appearance. The plant has an unusual rough and bumpy texture nicknamed 'warty' and ranges from bright green to yellow with raised white bumps across each fleshy leaf. This plant requires lower light levels making it perfect for those awkward spots.

RATING- Super Easy

LOVES- A semi shady position is best. Water sparingly once a week in summer and reduce in winter!

HATES- Direct sunlight- this succulent does well in semi-shade. Overwatering will cause root rot. Avoid misting

This plant requires lower light levels making it perfect for those awkward spots.
    Quick Care Guide

    Care Difficulty: Super easy to care for, brilliant plant for beginners as they don’t require much care.

    Light requirements: Warm bright sunny spot, with no direct sunlight.

    Watering: Water thoroughly but allow this plant to dry out completely between waterings. Drought tolerant, its best to underwater then to overwater. Reduce watering in winter.

    Humidity: Does not need any extra humidity.

    Toxicity: Non toxic to humans and pets

    Feeding: Enjoys being fed during Spring- Summer growth period. Always follow the instructions on your feed of choice. A cactus feed is best.

    Repotting: Repot every couple of years -check to see if the roots are coming out the bottom of the pot or the pot is filled up by offsets.

    FREE UK DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS OVER £50.

    Free local delivery to Brighton & Hove homes and surrounding areas is available.

    UK Nationwide delivery fees (for total orders under £50):

    • £4 for 48-hour tracked delivery via Royal Mail
    • £6.95 tracked next-day working day delivery with UPS (order must be received before 2pm to guarantee next-day delivery).

    These charges cover the whole order, regardless of how many items. Please email us if you would like the option to upgrade your shipping for faster delivery.

    Refunds & returns

    Refunds are available for any plant or product with an obvious fault. The request must be made within 7 days of delivery via email or by phone.

    Any products damaged in transit will require photos to be submitted via email. If we think they are salvageable we will provide you with return labels. If they are not we will provide a full refund, but we require the complaint to be submitted within 7 days of receiving the plant.

    Any return of plants within 7 days for any other reason will require the customer to pay for that return postage. Full details can be found here on our Refunds Policy page.
