Background & Origin
Strelitzia reginae, commonly known as the Orange Bird of Paradise, is an iconic tropical plant native to South Africa. It produces bold, upright leaves and striking flowers that resemble a bird in flight, with vivid orange and blue petals emerging from a rigid beak-like bract. In its natural habitat, it thrives in sunny, coastal environments. While it can be grown indoors, it typically requires very bright light to flower and performs best in warm, sunny positions

FREE UK DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS OVER £50.

Free local delivery to Brighton & Hove homes and surrounding areas is available.

UK Nationwide delivery fees (for total orders under £50):

  • £4 for 48-hour tracked delivery via Royal Mail
  • £6.95 tracked next-day working day delivery with UPS (order must be received before 2pm to guarantee next-day delivery).

These charges cover the whole order, regardless of how many items. Please email us if you would like the option to upgrade your shipping for faster delivery.

Refunds & returns

Refunds are available for any plant or product with an obvious fault. The request must be made within 7 days of delivery via email or by phone.

Any products damaged in transit will require photos to be submitted via email. If we think they are salvageable we will provide you with return labels. If they are not we will provide a full refund, but we require the complaint to be submitted within 7 days of receiving the plant.

Any return of plants within 7 days for any other reason will require the customer to pay for that return postage. Full details can be found here on our Refunds Policy page.
