Ruben Watson is a mixed media artist whose work brings together acrylic, collage and expressive mark-making to create layers of texture, movement and interest. Working from life and following whatever captures his imagination, Ruben is known for taking his canvases out onto the South Downs to sketch and capture a moment before translating it into paint.

His figurative work explores the movement and emotions of people, finding meaning in everyday gestures and interactions. For Ruben, the creative process is just as important as the finished piece — a continuous journey of observing, experimenting and searching for that elusive “aha” moment.

Ruben works from his studio and gallery at Sandhill Lane, Washington, Pulborough, where he showcases his artwork and runs workshops.

Overview

Inspired by the rolling landscapes of the South Downs, these prints capture the beauty and character of two of Sussex’s most iconic landmarks, Cissbury Ring and Chanctonbury Ring. Created by mixed media artist Ruben Watson, each piece combines expressive mark-making, layered textures and a love of painting directly from life to capture the atmosphere of these much-loved local landscapes.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

FREE UK DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS OVER £50.

Free local delivery to Brighton & Hove homes and surrounding areas is available.

UK Nationwide delivery fees (for total orders under £50):

  • £4 for 48-hour tracked delivery via Royal Mail
  • £6.95 tracked next-day working day delivery with UPS (order must be received before 2pm to guarantee next-day delivery).

These charges cover the whole order, regardless of how many items. Please email us if you would like the option to upgrade your shipping for faster delivery.

Refunds & returns

Refunds are available for any plant or product with an obvious fault. The request must be made within 7 days of delivery via email or by phone.

Any products damaged in transit will require photos to be submitted via email. If we think they are salvageable we will provide you with return labels. If they are not we will provide a full refund, but we require the complaint to be submitted within 7 days of receiving the plant.

Any return of plants within 7 days for any other reason will require the customer to pay for that return postage. Full details can be found here on our Refunds Policy page.
